Getting proper stouts to the Dutch crowd

There we are! Top-shelf in the Albert Heijn (you know the Dutch blue colored super market)

Maybe some of you will think: there goes another independent craft brewery... 'over to the dark side'. But this has been a conscious choice for us. We want to grow, and there's only one way to do that: to get our beer in front of the masses. And yes, let's say, our first contact with craft beer was also just in a supermarket. Then in the local liquor store and then at a craft beer specialty store. That's how the journey goes.

And don't think that we are passing our specialty stores by, oh no, we still make quite a few beer specials, and we make them for all the beer geeks who love to shop at the those craft shops. For now, the only offerings in the supermarket are the core range, like Motor Oil and Crank the Juice.

In any case, we are super excited. So excited that we of course had to stop by and take advantage of the 6=5 offer. Like, we are still Dutch 😌

Daar staan we dan! Top-shelf in de Albert Heijn.

Misschien zullen een aantal van jullie denken: daar gaat weer een independent craft brewery… ‘over to the dark side’. Maar dit is een bewuste keuze voor ons geweest. We willen groeien, en dat kan maar op een manier: ons bier in de kijker brengen van de massa. En ja, laten we wel zeggen, onze eerste aanraking met speciaalbier was ook gewoon in die supermarkt. Toen in de Gall&Gall en vervolgens bij Bierwinkel Alkmaar. Zo gaat dat.

Denk ook zeker niet dat we onze speciaalzaken hiermee passeren, oh nee, we maken nog steeds behoorlijk veel specials, en die maken we voor alle beer geeks die naar hartelust winkelen bij de speciaalzaak. Voorlopig is het enige aanbod in de supermarkt de core range, zoals Motor Oil en Crank the Juice. Tenzij je het over een supermarkt hebt die ook echt een mooi aanbod speciaalbier heeft, daar vind je ook zo nu en dan een special.

Wij zijn in ieder geval super enthousiast. Zo enthousiast dat we natuurlijk ff langs moesten gaan en gebruik maken van de aanbieding 6=5. We blijven Hollanders hè 😌

Shop dus vanaf nu je Moersleutel Motor Oil & Crank the Juice bij je wekelijkse boodschappen. Zo hopen we die rotatiesnelheid te halen en in de winkel te blijven!
